AI Calling

Automating sales calls with AI means setting up an AI voice agent that dials your prospect list, conducts qualifying conversations, and surfaces warm leads — without any manual dialing. This guide walks through the exact setup process.
Create an account with SignalWire, Twilio, or VoIP.ms. Purchase a DID (phone number), create a SIP trunk, and copy the credentials. In TaskFirst's Voice Settings, add your SIP trunk to connect your AI agent to your phone number.
In Voice Agents, create a new agent. Configure: name, voice, opening message, and conversation objective (e.g., "Qualify for interest in B2B lead generation software and transfer if interested").
Use the B2B Lead Finder to search for businesses in your target category and location — results include phone numbers. Alternatively upload a CSV. Review and filter for businesses matching your ICP.
In Voice Campaigns, create a campaign, select your AI agent and call list, configure dialing speed and calling hours, enable voicemail detection, set up live transfer, and launch. The AI begins dialing automatically.
The Call History dashboard updates in real time with every outcome: answered, voicemail, no answer, transferred. Full call transcripts are available immediately after each answered call.
After your first campaign, review: answer rate, qualification rate, and transfer rate. If answer rate is low, try different calling times or a local area code. If qualification rate is low, review transcripts to identify where conversations break down.
Basic SIP setup requires creating an account with a provider like SignalWire or Twilio (15–30 minutes, no coding). TaskFirst's onboarding guides cover each supported provider step by step.
